TCC has an exciting new vision and has the programs in place to reach that vision. We offer three main program areas of study, discipleship/fellowship and outreach where we exhibit our faith in our actions. We are pleased that a vast majority of our church participates in many of these activities.
TCC has utilized our speaker series with Peter Parris and other speakers to enhance our pulpit ministry of Pastor Young. This has allowed our congregation to experience the word from many different points of view all reaching back to the great reformed foundation of the Puritans. Our Discipleship and Fellowship emphasize learning through our regular Sunday School program for our youth and our adult opportunities of morning study, community groups and bible studies. TCC believes strongly in the great commandment and feels our responsibility is not only to ourselves but to spread the gospel. Our outreach involves three dedicated missionaries overseas (Open Hearts, Healing Hands, Holy Smokes and Threads of Yunan/Fishers of Men), A Women's Pregnancy Center, and our own activities involving our youth and adult members.
Our location has a sanctuary to seat 300 people and adequate Sunday School rooms for all ages. Covenant Theological Seminary has moved it's operation on campus as well. One of the purposes of the seminary is to work in concert with the church to train lay-people who want to study for reasons of personal growth. Additionally, the seminary will train the students seeking professional degrees in Christian ministry.
The church has become more of a teaching center for the doctrines of grace. Additional, well-qualified teachers/preachers have come to supplement the local team in proclaiming these truths.
